Secretary and treas- urer of Los Guerreros, a member of the library staff, awarded scholastic pin. GARY WALKER A loyal companion and excellent friend. He was a member of C Club and Thespians. His career is to become an architectural en- gineer and ambition to make money. SHIRLEY IRENE WILLISON Sincere in kindness, word, and deed. Sec- retary of Aesthetes. Career-airline hostess, flight to Hawaii. Shirley likes outdoors and sports. DARRELL WAYNE WARREN Once upon a time and once was enough. Senior class president, member of C Club, football, basketball, and baseball. Am- bition - to play cen- terfielder in the Majors. TOM WILLISON I didn’t go to school just to study. Interested in automo- bile industry. An ac- tive member of C” Club four years, placed in Montrose Wrestling Tournament 3, 4. PHYLLIS WILSON A smile that wins, a manner that takes. Editor of Warrior 4, and assistant editor 3, active in F.H. A. and Student Council. Her ambition is to become a writer, with a career of teaching.

KENDA KAY SORTER A genial sort of gal with the desire to become a medical missionary. Band, Thespians, Science Club president, Kenda is also a science fair first place winner. NELDA STONEMAN Much wisdom often goes with fewer words. Nelda, a shy, quiet gal, was on the Library Staff and a member of F.H. A. JAMES TATUM One who never takes life too seriously. His chosen career is to be- come a cartigraphic draftsman. Active in basketball and base- ball. Main hobby is cars. NOEL THUMSER Politeness that goes far but costs nothing. He was stage manager in Chorus. Wants to be an auto mechanic or a state patrol. Noel was business mar ager of the Tawasi. PHYLLIS CAREY THOMPSON Marriage is not a destination - it's a journey. Talented in musical field. Sang in many choral groups. BERTHA LEE UNSELT Her presence is al- ways known by the loudness of her quiet- ness. Ambition - to be a flight nurse. Ber- tha enjoys sewing and outdoor sports. She was active in Latin Club. GENE L. VAN ALSTYNE An earnest worker who is true to the end. He was a member of Aesthetes and Thespians. Participated in All School Plays and Festival Play. Main hobby is art; his ambition is to become a minister or school teacher. GENE VEATCH A likeable, dependable, classmate. Teammate in football, basketball and baseball. Class president in his junior year. A member of C Club and Student Council. Career - the Navy.

DAVID WYCKOFF A senior boy with an ambition to become an elec- trician. A member of Band and Science Club. David wrestled in his freshman year. His favorite pastime is cars. LINDA WYCKOFF A quiet, reserved and demure person. She was an active member of Band, Production Staff, and G. A. A. Her career choice - to become a secretary for Uncle Sam. JUDY YOUNG Goes through life with a pleasant smile. She was an active member of Thespians, Band, and Cue Club. Her career is to be- come an elementary teacher. LOUISE ZAMORA Her motto - make new friends, but keep the old. Even though missing at graduation, she isn't forgotten. Active in Los Guerreros Her strongest desire is to become a nun. i tt Charlotte Jenkins etched her name in the hearts of her classmates, the senior class of 1960. She died doing the thing she loved best riding horses. While in school, she was an active member of Band. Charlotte, only daughter of Harry and Vera Jenkins, was born January 23, 1942, and passed away August 20, 1957. Kathy Vessels, after a year-long battle against sugar diabetes, was finally defeated. This blond haired, blue eyed girl was always bubbling over with humor and happiness. Kathy was active in the chorus and a straight A student in high school. Kathy, daughter of Frank and Dorothy Vessels, was born in Minnesota, July 1, 1942, and died January 15, 1958.
