KENDA KAY SORTER A genial sort of gal with the desire to become a medical missionary. Band, Thespians, Science Club president, Kenda is also a science fair first place winner. NELDA STONEMAN Much wisdom often goes with fewer words. Nelda, a shy, quiet gal, was on the Library Staff and a member of F.H. A. JAMES TATUM One who never takes life too seriously. His chosen career is to be- come a cartigraphic draftsman. Active in basketball and base- ball. Main hobby is cars. NOEL THUMSER Politeness that goes far but costs nothing. He was stage manager in Chorus. Wants to be an auto mechanic or a state patrol. Noel was business mar ager of the Tawasi. PHYLLIS CAREY THOMPSON Marriage is not a destination - it's a journey. Talented in musical field. Sang in many choral groups. BERTHA LEE UNSELT Her presence is al- ways known by the loudness of her quiet- ness. Ambition - to be a flight nurse. Ber- tha enjoys sewing and outdoor sports. She was active in Latin Club. GENE L. VAN ALSTYNE An earnest worker who is true to the end. He was a member of Aesthetes and Thespians. Participated in All School Plays and Festival Play. Main hobby is art; his ambition is to become a minister or school teacher. GENE VEATCH A likeable, dependable, classmate. ROSA MARIE ROUNDTREE Through life she goes with a happy smile. Active in Chorus and Cue Club. Her likes are centered around sports and boys, while her dislikes are school and work- ing. Her ambition is to become an airline hostess. FLOYD RUBY One who leaves silence for the saints. Active in foot- ball, wrestling, and baseball. His choice of careers is to become a machinist in the Navy. MIKE SCOTT If girls interfere with his work, he quits work. He was vice president of D. E. His ambition is to become a jet pilot in the air force. His favorite likes are sports. FAY SHORT Gone, but not for- gotten like her twin. Ambition to be house- wife. Fay likes to bowl, swim, picnic and collect rocks. MAY SHORT Life without laughter is a dreary one. Ambi- tion to be a good house- wife. May left C. H. S. to attend Moffat County High. JERRY SIMS Always the same in sunshine or rain. With the Navy as a career, Jerry is also interested in sports. A., and Student Council. Her career will be that of a grade school music teacher. MAX L. SMITH Admits he likes work; he can sit and watch it for hours.
