ROBERT SYLVESTER DARNELL Silent type - always deep in thought. His ambition is ranching and forestry work. He enjoys many outdoor sports such as fishing and hunting. PAULETTE DAVIS A winning personality and leadership. Her career is to become a receptionist. She was head girl in her senior year. Historian in D.E. and Vice President in G. A. A. SANDRA DAVIS A girl with a flair for cooking, won the Betty Crocker Award. Her career is to be a receptionist. She was active in F. H. A. and G. A. A. ROGER DUCKETT A fellow whom everyone admires for his gameness, wit and good nature. He was active in Student Council, Band and football. Roger came to C. H. S. as a junior and served as vice president. His favorite pastime is outdoor sports. MARY EDITH DOWELL Talents of the silent kind. Her ambition is to be a surgical nurse. She was active in Chorus, G. A. A. and D. E. Her likes are all outdoor sports. TED JAY DuCRAY A cauliflower ear is a mark of distinc- tion. He was a mem- ber of C Club, foot- ball, wrestling and baseball. A career in coaching is his goal. CHARLOTTE CATHERINE EDELEN A happy smile with pretty blue eyes. Ambition to become a secretary in a well founded firm. President and secretary of Chorus, Pep Club member, all-State Choir, senior year, Rhythm Misses. GENE EVANS Admits that his special interest is eating; but he also enjoys girls. His career is to become an engineer. His favorite pastime is hunting.

MARILYN BUCHNER A loquacious, energetic, peppy senior classmate. Ambition - to become a secretary with lots of time off to attend sport car races, her favorite pastime. FREDA LOUISE CATE Laughing and riding are her two favorite pastimes. To become a rancher's wife after attending C. U. is her ambition. Active in Chorus, F.H. A., Science Club. Freda is a member of the Science Fair Staff. SHARON LAREE COWGER A queen at heart, a senior choice of royalty. Her ambition is to become a book- keeper of business and home. A member of Band, and G. A. A., Sharon was Home- coming Queen her senior year. ALLEN CROCKER A man of a few thousand words. Wres- tling manager and ”C Club. A member of the exchange as- sembly group. Allen likes music, cars, and parties. CHARLES CRAIG He gained no titles, but lost no friends. His main interest is cars and hunting (What?). His ambition - to be- come an auto mechan- ic. Chuck was active in football, wrestling in his freshman and junior year. JOLENE MEULA CROSS Through life she goes with a happy smile. To become a model is her ambition. Vice president of Los Guerreros, twirler in Band and a Cue-Club member. RUTH YVONNE CRUMB In the middle of all things you will always find this loquacious girl. Ambition - to become the wife of a certain electrician. A member of Publications, adver- tising manager of the Tawasi, Science Club and Chorus. Her hobbies are riding and skiing. EDNA DARDIN With her pleasant smile is always quiet and sweet. Her ambition - to become a beautician with leisure time for sports. She was active in Band, Chorus and G. A. A.

CAROLYN FEVAAG A girl with a sweet personality and a flair for sewing. She was a member of Thespians and Publications. Her hobbies are swimming and dancing. Ambition - Interior Decorator. Career - Airline Hostess. Banner girl with the marching band. JERALD A. FIEGEL One who says little but thinks a lot. His career is to become a meteorologist. Vice President and treasurer of the Senior Honor Society. LARRY FIKE A person friendly to all, hostile to none, always jolly and full of fun. His ambition is to build a car, while his career is to join the Navy. MYRNA FRANKLIN Talented in art, writing, and making friends. Ambition - to become a psychol- ogist. Active in Aesthetes, Publications, Chorus and a member of the exchange as- sembly group. Hobbies include art, music, and fishing. RUDY FONTANARI A mixture of sense and nonsense. A team- mate in his junior and senior years in wrestling, and played basketball two years. Fishing and hunting are his two main interests along with mountain climb- ing. FRANK FRISBIE His secret of suc- cess is to be ready for opportunity when it comes. He came to Central in his junior year from Fruita High. Ambition - to become a lawyer with one foot in politics. RICHARD GARBER I wouldn't be different if I could. Richard likes parties but he also likes girls, (a certain one). Career - work in the oil field. CAROLYN SUE GEARHART A red haired gal with a heart as big as all outdoors. Ambition - to become a medical technician. She came to Central in her junior year. Thespians and Chorus make up the activities Carolyn was active in.
