It seems there are quite a few gangs in this old place, (harmless, of course, 'cause they axe safety gangs). Russell Olson is the biggest good gang leader in history. Wow! This gang has women in it and sitting at his right hand side is Evelyn Schwabauer. Shirley Garber was jilted by the guy she was going steady with so she entered the Miss Old Maid of America Contest and is now running a Lovelorn Column in Love Comic Book. I just left my car at the biggest garage in this town owned and run by Roger Stimbert. He tells me that Leonard Page has been Mr. Marshall's office boy for the past 10 years and likes the work a little better every day. Louise Douglass has been running ads in papers and making lots of money. Her ads-- Slim the Douglass Way. ” Keith Key is now a Foreign Legion aire and is chasing nasty A-rabs all over the scorch- ing desert. His wife, Marlene Chamberlain has always wanted him to be a chief, so he is now happily raising his own tribe. John Sacco is the latest teen-age rave. He is currently starring with the widely known Lonafee Plushbottom, plus Two Boys and a WAC. And I bet you can't guess who the WAC is. This gal always has wanted to be a WAC ever since she was big enough to dream. That girl happens to be Jeanice Wright. The Pruett Brothers are really in business this time-A Drive-In Restaurant. Herbert cooks and mixes drinks while Robert car-hops. He's a darn good one, too. I guess Meregildo Vigil and Jim Patterson finally got wise and married up with their little sophomore friends. Meregildo leads a dance band at night in his spate time in Jerry McFall's big night club. You really see some hum-dingers in Jerry's Place —Betty Faulkenburg is one of the head chorus girls. It's a sensation, let me tell you! Ronnie Lamb happens to be the bouncer here at this night club so you'd better watch your step. By the way, they've made things convenient for those with coats on--Jerry Walker comes along with Ronnie to help (he holds the coats). I always thought Jerry would marry Mary Clark or Betty Britton but he's still playing the field. You remember in high school when Harold High was voted the most handsome senior at Central? Well, now, he's been voted the most handsome guy of America. Can you imagine that? A guy from our very own high school? Delano Davis and Leroy Bauman have fixed up themselves a brewery 'cause they spent too much money otherwise. LeRoy Corneille is still raising bulldogs. He has some very unusual specimens. If you need a good bulldog, contact him at his home. He still lives in the same place he lived in 20 years ago; it was too much trouble to try to move his dogs. Garry Newman is now running the Arthur Murray Studio of Dancing, only it's Garry Newman's Studio now. His mother used to tell him that any girl that could follow his danc- ing style was really a good dancer, so he's trying to find out how many good dancers there are in the world. Charlie Gibson took Bobby Benson's place because he got mad at Bobby one time when he got off key on the song I’m an Old Cow Hand. As you probably know, Norman Jones is still riding bikes and every other kind of contraption up over Mantey Heights. He’s only had two broken legs, one broken arm, and he's still in the hospital with a broken neck. Joan Sims told me that for the last ten years Nedra Redfield has been a missionary in Africa. She's making many friends over there. It's surprising how many animals can be on one continent. We decided so as not to cause any embarrassment or misunderstanding, we won't mention the FBA's. (Future Bums of America.) Now that I think I've taken in about everybody, I shall go to sleep for a while longer if I don't die of old age before I wake up again. Good Night! Signed, B. J. Van Winkle

‘PxoflAectf t6e Senio (Pfaoo )$(£7o, GLUB-uh-blubheishaiehg, Whar am I nohow? This here place is funnier than the dickens. I can't figure it out. Just a minute--I'll go into this place here on the corner and ask what's going on. Har I am again and can you guess who owns that pool hall? The one and only George Rucker. He informed me that this is 1974. Good Cow! What happened to me these past 20 years? Oh well, the present is the present and there isn't anything you can do about it. Hey. look over there at that sign! Mary Monahan, Attorney at Law. ” Hummmmmmm. Looking through the window I see Peggy Brown and Eleanor Burner, her loyal secretaries, and very competent secretaries too, thanks to Mrs. Gummere. Hey what's this? Phil Irwin and Geraldine Shriver going down the street hand in hand. Do you suppose they been hitched? I just saw a show on television. Central's '54 troop sure did turn up with loads of talent. Here was the program or rather a part of it. Betty Britton, LaVonne Martin, Claudia Giffin, Janice Akens, Shirley Rosson, and Joan Sims, the sextet of the Merry 70's singing in the Grand Opera House accompanied by Elaine Wade and Barbara Schwaubauer. You'd really be surprised at the odd things you see along these streets that run from side to side instead of up and down. Larry Cochran invented a car, The Space Shooter, which is the only car that is on the market because when IT came out, nobody wanted anything else. I just don't know what to think. Sandy Harris has signed a life contract with the New York Yankees and Roger Wilson and Duane Johnson are running around with the Globe Trotters. Mrs. Gummere is a little older now but she is such an efficient Secretarial Training Teach er that the school board just didn't want to let her go so they called in Joe Hill to be her hon- ored assistant. Joe used to be a very good student of hers. Guess who has nearly become the second General Dwight D. Eisenhower? (He WILL be the second in about 50 years from now.)-----Jack Guerrie, he always did want a simple job. And his very own Mamie with her stupid hats and hair-dos is none other than Betty Lu Hasse. What do you know? After all the fightin' and feudin’ in high school, Nils Hofmann and Darley Burton got married in '57 and have daughters for every succeeding year 'til now. George told me that Jim Cooper is still working on a long, hard project---to be a man. It'll be a hard climb but those things take time you know. I read where A1 Ladage was entered in the Mr. America Contest, (the physique part). A later-dated paper said that he won. Hooray! George ordered some lumber to make another pool table in his hall and the manager had to deliver it due to the illness of one of his employees--in walked Robert Wyckoff carrying the whole load of lumber alone. That suit of stars and stripes walking down the street over there contains Paul Sparks and that sweet young thing by his side is his war bride, Alice White. Galloping along behind them are their two little (spark) plugs. Bud Sanford and Bob Mathews won first prize at the International Custom Car Exhibit. It was really a neat job and they wouldn't even take me for a ride just'cause I wanted to spin to Alaska. Stella Diller is managing her father's Auto Court, (I don't see how she does it 'cause every time she hears a noise, she runs and hides in her clothes closet.)
