These are the vivacious seven who led our team to many victories in toot- ball and basketball. They constantly maintained the good spirit for which Central stancls. Even when the chips were down, they kept up the moral. We pay tribute to these spirited people. team Above are officers Todie Shotsman, secretary, Jack Roberts, treasurer, Marion Irwin, president, and Happy Blanchard, reporter. The swimming team has been very active this year. The boys have worked out at the YMCA. During the season the boys used the Boys' Club pool on Tues- day and Thursday nights. The girls worked out at the YWCA every Thursday afternoon. Each month the girls and boys had a ioint meeting. The team was in full swing erftering swimming meets November 30 and March 8. Members got points toward their letters on their attendance at meetings and prac- tices, participation in meets, and their development of strokes. Mrs. Irwin has done an excellent iob with her large group this year.
