coaches honored Our fine coaches were honored at halftime during the game between Central and Morristown. With Tommy Hensley, fcenterl presiding, the coaches and their wives were presented gifts from the fans of Fountain City. Head coach Dan Boring received a 1957 Chevrolet. The other coaches received smallchecks. The coaches and their wives from left to right are Mr. and Mrs. Dan Boring, Mr. ancl Mrs. O.C. Lloyd, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Boring, and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Johnson. On Dan Boring Night the fans presented him with a i957 Chevrolet. The other coaches received small checks. the toot- laall team gave him a 38-O victory over Morristown. iw

Alvin Jenkins, Charlie Severance, Charlie Mom. gomery, and Danny Drinnen. When the l956-57 basketball season rolled around, Coach O.C. Lloyd found that he was without the services of four first-string lettermen, and the rest of the squad had little experience for the most part. But the spirit and determination of the boys turned the team into a well-rounded organization that gave us many victories. The Bobcats participated in the South lnvitation Tournament during Christmas vaca- tions and the District Tournament at the end of the season. Danny Drinnen goes for a iump shot against West. 64
