The Hl-Y is a division of the Knoxville YMCA. The members of HI-Y have participated in various activities which included buy- ing a flag for the band room and entering a skit in the Beta Club talent night. Jeanette Denny, the club sweetheart, offered fem- inine advice to the boys in their service proiects. The club brought the school year to a close with a hayride in April. Under the capable leadership of Jack Lowe, the president, the club functioned as a well organized group. I 23

...---.1 y-teens The Y-Teens of Central High School consist of four chapters ---one for each class. These Y-Teens are a branch ot the YWCA, and their goal is to develop in a Christian way toward religion, nationality and races. A few of the proiects this past year included giving baskets to needy families, working for the Knoxville Journal Milk Fund, sponsoring a candy sell, entertaining with a formal dance for charity, and having a recognition ceremony in January to give credit to outstanding members. nefbg, 3' presidents Senior president .... . .. .
