The ANNUAL CENTRALITE STAFF has txied to capture within the covers of this book the story of Central High School duringthe 1956-1957 school year. For the annual staff, the year began with the selling of advertisements and the plann- ing of the general layout and theme. Through- out the year, staff members worked during school and outside of school taking pictures, writing copy, and doing various other tasks needed to complete the product. The staff wishes to express its appreciation to Dave Wright and Wright's Studio forthe help and assistance that was given them during the preparation of this book. These Y-Teens are a branch ot the YWCA, and their goal is to develop in a Christian way toward religion, nationality and races. A few of the proiects this past year included giving baskets to needy families, working for the Knoxville Journal Milk Fund, sponsoring a candy sell, entertaining with a formal dance for charity, and having a recognition ceremony in January to give credit to outstanding members. nefbg, 3' presidents Senior president .... . .. .
