Pictured at the riqht is the initiation of new members at the lanuary banquet. At the city-county banquet on March 24. the Central Society sponsored iunior George Alspaugh for president of the City-County Senior Honor Society Organization. Honor Society projects during the year included a Christmas tree sale, purchasing a new school flag nominating Nathaniel Bow- ditch tor the Hall of Fame as a part of a nation-wide Senior Honor Society proiect, and considering the acquisition of a lectern tor the school. The year's activities were brought to a close with a picnic supper dur- ing the last weeks of school and the formal installation of new officers at the May banquet.

Walker The Key Club is Central's newest service organization. Sponsored by the Northside Kiwanians, the club was organized in early lanuary. The twenty-one charter members were picked by Mr. Loy on recommenda- tions by the faculty. An assembly program was given on March 16 in which the club was officially recognized by the school. On March 23 the club was presented its charter from Key Clubs international. Members spent most of the year familarizing themselves with the purposes action and possible activities of their club.
