TOES, a delighttul sequel to CHEAPEB BY THE DOZEN, presented by the dramatics department. Gene Case was editor-in-chief oi the Regular Centrulite, and Iohn lelliccrse edited our annual. Carolyn Hileman received the D.A.B. Citizenship Award and the Betty Crocker Award. Leading our football team was Bob Smith who was chosen as the best linesman here in East Tennessee. Bob Sexton was captain of the boys' basketball team and was named captain of the District All-tournament team. The girls' basketball team with Dot Card- well, Beverly Rogers, Barbara Howard, and Kathleen Donaldson as senior members came out fourth in the district tournament. The traditional class night with history, song, and candle-light ceremony was held Iune 3, l955, in our auditorium. Baccalaureate was held at Central Baptist Church, Sunday, lune 5, 1955, with Bev. Vernon C. Adcock delivering an inspring sermon. On lune 6, 1955, we received our diplo- mas at our graduation exercises held at U-T auditorium.
