The building program launched by Coach Dan Boring was aimed at using outstanding football and basketball players as the nucleus of the squad and then to surround them with promising underclassmen. They call the roll, direct calisthenics, and take care of the QYrn equip- ment. ln this Way, they not only help the coaches and the classes, but they also benefit by learning physical education methods. The physical education classes are a part of the school program aimed at develop- ing the students' athletic abilityg however, they serve as a welcome relief from regular school work. ' ' ' 'I03
