The final 7-6 record does not give justice to the team, as they lost several close games by only two or three points. Throughout the season the coach, Miss Louise Miller, assisted by We-inie Wininger, taught the girls the necessary fundamentals and the rules of play: the team justified the Work by placing fourth in the Sixth District Toumament. loan Craig led the offense with an average of 19 points a game. At the annual basketball banquet on March lo, the team members were presented letters, and loan Craig was re-elected captain. Mary Ruth 'Wells was elected to replace Barbara Howard as alternate captain. 97
