GIRLS' BASKETBALL At the end of the regular season the Central High Bobkittens stood in third place in the 6th District. Their. overall record was 7 wins and 6 losses. Joan Craig, co-captain of the 1953-1954 team, led in scoring with 259 points. The other girls who went on to the tournament were Norma Blackburn, Dot Cardwell, Kathleen Donaldson, Jennie Hart, Captain Jean Hensley, Barbara Howard, Carolyn Reece, Barbara Ryan, Beverly Rogers, Mary Ruth Wells, and Audrey Zink. ln the 6th District Tournament Central placed 4th and had two players on the All-Tournament team, Joan Craig and Jean Hensley.
