SEMPER IDEM SOCIETY Tbe Semper Idem Society was organized in tbe fall of 1933 to promote interest in rules of etiquette for senior girls, to aid in developing good scholastic standings for members, and to promote good fellowship and friendship among members of the club as well as tbe entire school. Miss Ruth Daugherty was selected to head the organization in 1933, which was composed of ten members including Elizabeth Phifer, Lida Coffman, Laura Jarrard, Elaine Stolz, Hazel Hockmuth, Alice Kelly, Jessie Roberts, Jeanette McClanahan, Carolyn Lockett, and Claribell Lutman. Eight members were added to the list in 1934, and each year this number of pledges will be admitted into the society. The business meetings of the club are held semi-monthly. Membership of the Semper Idem is open to girls only, and therefore subjects interesting to girls are discussed.
