Her Majesty, Joan Fast Novombor football November 2-Overwhelming the Okmulgee Bulldogs, 25 to 3, the Roughers chalked up their six- teenth start and scored three points on a field goal in the first minute of play. However, with Pretty Miller, Gene Williams, and Recil Allen making long runs, the Roughers soon took the situ- ation in hand. Harry Crank and Roy Wilson turned in good per- formances in the line, while Recil Allen's run of 85 yards on a punt was the most spectacular dash of the game. November 9-Playing a scoreless first half, the Green and White managed to score in each of the last two periods and defeat the Ft. Smith Grizzlies, 13 to 6, in a hard earned victory. Opening the third period, Pretty Miller slipped through the left side of the line and ran 59 yards to score six points for the Roughers. The Grizzlies, however, tied the count at 6-all when a series of passes and line plays gave them the ball on the one yard line from where Jones, grizzly quarterback, carried it over.
