How many times we have heard or sung these words and never really stopped to consider their meaning. Central, the building on the hill, has the sky for a backdrop, while Central, the student body and faculty, has the spirit of the Indians ever present. The spirit of the Indians — the athletes, the scholars, the musicians, and the other members of the tribe at Central, whether winning or losing, must never falter or die, for it is the backbone and supp ort of Cen- traI. We have spent many hours in the buildings and with the people of Central, but soon this time of our lives will end. Then, only the memories of our high school days will remain. We will have many memories of the teachers and students we knew, of the classroom activities and the knowledge and skills we learned there, and of the spirit at Central — the many pep rallies and bonfires and the ath- letic contests. Memories are like leaves,- they fall and some fly away and are for- gotten, while others remain and become a part of our lives. Our tree has shed its leaves; the most meaningful memories of yester- day, the moments just past, are captured here, within fhes pages. Come laugh, cry, and remember with us. t
