Stratford, has won honors in every appearance this year, both at home and out-of- town. The ace marching band, composed of sixty-five musicians and led by eight snappy majorettes and drum major, provides entertainment at football games. This year the Indian Band presented their famous “Sousa Show at the Arkansas A and M— Ouachita College Football Game. They also marched in all civic parades, as well as school pep parades. The concert band, which has seventy-five mem- bers, presents a spring concert and a student con- cert. Both the marching and concert bands attend the district and state festivals in the spring.
