'n,. 4 -vm,-+ - .. . rv H. N ,E '2- Toledia McIntyre Sergeant-at-Arm: The sophomore class followed the patuern of consideration for others set by one homeroom during their freshman year. This year the class conducted a second Care Drive, under the sponsorship of Mr. J. H. Cooper. Care buttons were soldg con- tributions were collected, a humorous skit presented in the auditorium to an audience paying a dime for admittance, and a Valentine's Day mixer was held, admittance, a quarter. All these projects netted upwards of 324000. The crowning of Toledia Mc- Intryre as Care Queen by Mr. Cooper was a special feature of the Valentine mixer. Standing on a platform decorated in red and white crepe paper, tiara on her head, flanked by her princesses, Toledia was a very attractive queen. Much credit for ad- vancing the cause of the drive is due Claudia DeGraffenreid. The class sponsors this year are Mrs. Burkhart, Mrs. Jones, Mrs. Nelson, Miss Schaller, and Mr. Weigers.
