The CHS Band can be divided into three different groups-woodwind, brass, and percussion. Each of these groups is composed of different sec- tions. The woodwind sections include the clarinets, flutes, saxophones, and low reeds. The percussion section back up the entire band. Almost any rhythm in- strument can be found in this section.

Each girl plays an instrument in the concert band. Each section is headed by a section leader and his assistant. Every section is composed of industrious students.
