I ffl ce laff This year six girls were chosen to be on the Office Staff. Each girl works dur- ing the time of her regular study hall. Herjob is to run errands for the office. The six girls are Ann Sinclair, Betty Lax, Judy Ervin, Denise Bryant, Gloria Cox, and Janet Babb. -ff'1f'n-ai' Sf. . - . f ,. Magazine Campaign Although we didn't reach our goal this year in our annual maga- zine campaign we did have a lot of fung of course, there was work, too. The co-captains, Joe Wheeler and Mike Owens, advised by Mrs. Charline Durrett, had the temptingjob of counting the money taken in from all the rooms and making sure everything tallied. The high salesman this year was Danny Lindsayg with second and third places going to Debra Sain and Belinda Williams, respectively The high rooms were: firstaMr. George Brintls Biology Class and second! Mrs. Landis Ross's Latin I Class. CWhat happened to the ju niors and seniors?J On the last day of school before the Christmas holidays, each of these two rooms had, to the agony of their teach- ers, a rip-roaring, swinging party.

W The band won first place at Memphis State University Marching Contest and received superi- or ratings at West Tennessee and Middle Tennes- see State Marching Contests. The members ofthe band worked very hard to obtain these high hon- ors and should be commended for their outstand- ing accomplishments.
