The Future Homemakers of America is an organization for all girls enrolled in first, second, and third year home economics. One of their main purposes is to further an in- terest in home economics. This is fulfilled many Ways by projects. Each year they make ditty bags for the patients at Western State Hospital, prepare a booth for the fair, hold an annual fashion show, and a mother-daughter tea. Each year they select a F.H.A. mother and F.I-l.A. beau. This year they are Mrs. Joe Nuckolls and Wayne Ubelhor. Central is the host for F.H.A.-Day, which is a meeting of all schools in the Bolivar Sub-Region. F.H.A. is a club where a girl can grow as an individual. This year,s officers are President Jane Nuckolls, Vice-President Beth Eastham, Secretary Wanda Burkeen, Treasurer Debbie Carver, Parli- mentarian Nannettee Breeden, Historian Rosemarie Shearon, Reporter Linda Clifford, and Song Leaders Terry Cross and Donna Dukes.

Have you ever wondered who is responsible for those thoroughly enlightening programs for assembly each Friday? That, kids, is the job of the Assembly Committee. This group of students and faculty make the phone calls and send the letters contacting the guest speakers. This year's committee has done an excellent job in providing the stu- dents with humorous, serious, and entertaining programs.
