Football Royalty The crowning of the football royalty was the sparkle of the 1968-69 Homecoming game. The royalty was se- lected by the football players themselves. The royalty was Queen, Donna Doyleg First Maid, Nancy Nelms, and Second Maid, Freida Dickerson. The Queen was escorted by Tommy McAnally, First Maid by Mike Kirksey, and Second Maid by Ray Hammons. Basketball Cheerleaders The dominant voices you hear at the basketball games are those of the basketball cheerleaders. They are Nannette Breeden, Pam Jackson, Linda Maxwell, Linda Clifford, Captain, Donna Doyle, Opha Farris, Susan Baker, and Janet Stallings.

avannah verpowers Bolivar 48-O Bolivar was unable to stop Savannah from the very beginning of the game. Charles West, Savannah's fleet halfback, scored five touchdowns against the Green Wave. Randy Ayers Was converted from guard to fullback for the game. Several times gaping holes were opened up for him. Bolivar verturns Bruceton 6-0 The Mighty Tigers seemed to shrug off the disappointments of the season as they outlasted Bruceton 6-O. It was the pass- ing of Kenneth Chumney and the running of Tommy McAnally that enabled Bolivar to control the pigskin during a majority ofthe game.
