reenwave Takes Revenge Five Bolivar players got into the scoring act as the Bolivar Tigers routed Selmer 44-6, Wayne Russell and Tommy lVlcAn- ally each scored twice. The game was less than two minutes old when Barry Bryant went over left tackle and raced 55 yards for Bolivar's first TD. Chumney booted the extra point to put Bolivar out front 7-O. Russell scored next on a 6 yard run around left end, Chuinney again kicked the extra point. Selmer scored its only TD early in the second quarter. Russell scored his second TD on a nine yard run. lVlcAnally then scored his first TD on a 10 yard run over right guard. In the third quarter McAnally scored on a 63 yard jaunt. Andy Martin snagged two Selmer passes and took the last one into the end zone. Bolivar's last touchdown came on a pass play from Elmer Hicks to Danny Palfreeman. Lexington Proves too Strong 41-6 Lexington s Red Tigers overpowered Central 41 - 6. Bolivar held the red men for the first quarter, but Lexington broke loose and led 20-O at half time. Tommy McAnally scored Bolivar's only TD in the third quarter after the Bolivar eleven had blocked Lexingtonis punt, and recovered it on the Lexington 22. Tigers mesh Riverside 25-6 Bolivar built up enough points in the first half to overpower Riverside. Quarterback Wayne Russell put Bolivar on the scoreboard early in the game. Mike Kirksey recovered a Bolivar fumble in the end zone for the next Bolivar score. The PAT by Chumney was good. Russell completed passes of 40 and 25 yards to end Billy Baker for the next two Bolivar scores. The pigskin changed hand late in the fourth quarter. Riverside scored on a 40 yard pass. The game ended with Bolivar 33 the victor. Wooddale poils iger Homecoming 20-6 Bolivar was unable to stop Memphis Wooddale when they began to move. Bolivar jumped to an early lead when Fullback Tommy McAnally found a hole in the middle of the line and romped 60 yards to paydirt on the first play from scrimmage of the game. Wooddale scoredjust before the half and took a 7-6 lead into the dressing room. Wooddale scored once in each of the remaining quarters. The game ended with Wooddale on top 20-6.

outhside's Quickness tuns Central 33-12 Bolivar was unable to stop South Sidels small but fast backs. South Side jumped to a 27-O lead in the first half, but Bol- ivar scored on a 30 yard pass to Billy Baker with seconds remaining. In the second half, South Side was able to score only once. With eight seconds remaining in the game, Tommy McAnally burst through the line to score from eight yards out. Henderson Beats Bolivar 41-20 Bolivar fans saw Centraljump to an early lead against Henderson. Wayne Russell scored Bolivar's first TD on a 48 yard run through the middle of the line. The touchdown followed a tremendous defensive effort by Bolivar. With Henderson knocking at the door on the ten yard line, Bolivar's defense pushed its opponent back 85 yards in four plays. Russell's TD followed a Henderson punt. Minutes later Ray Hammons pulled in a Russell pass and raced 60 yards to paydirt. Hender- son's quarterback Joe Rush took over from this point. He fired five touchdowns passes. Tommy McAnally scored Bolivar's other TD on a 12 yard run up the middle. W '
