What girl won't have to cook a meal, sew a straight seam, wash a pair of sticky hands, or arrange a room so it will be home? These are only a few of the things Mrs. Kay teaches each and every year. When school begins, the FHA'ers work and put together an exhibit at the county fair. After finishing their sewing projects, these girls model their outfits in a fashion show for the student body. The third year girls have a party twice a week, while the first and second year girls only cook Casseroles and breakfast. Our main event comes around Christmas when the annual Mother -Daughter Banquet is presented. During the night honors were given to our FHA Mother, Mrs. Kay Worley, and our Beau, Charles Simmons, For entertainment the Junior class presented a beautiful still life representation of the Christmas story.
