SENIOR CLASS PROPHECY Ah! with the first turn of the mysterious Crystal Ball, we see the future. First, there is Peggy Mack modeling in Paris at one of the most famous dress shops owned and operated by Hazel Taylor. She is wearing Slim Jims . Would you believe it, her measurements are 38-24-42. Four years from now we see Eddie Oliver and James Boone playing professional basketball with the St. Louis' Hawks. Ed- die is captain. As we look further into the future we see James Boyd, who has a family, he plays baseball with the Phillies. He's their star. Gene Arrington, who has talents that we knew not of, has gained weight and is now heavy-weight King . George Towns is gaining, not weight this time, but fame. He is Coach of his team, the Texan Clown, they are giving the Globe Trotters competition. Looking further into the Crystal Ball, we see Kenny Johnson, a lawyer in San Diego and Minnie White his wife and secretary. Six years from now on January 20, J. D. Jennings takes his oath as president of the United States. Emma Beech is the first lady. Looking closer we find Verna Miller, Mattie Ford, and Mary Burden, registered nurses, at John Gastonis hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Five years from now we find Jessie Jones and Ruby Kuyken- doll in London, they own and operate a beauty salon. Nancey Starks and Arphelia Portwood are flying on one of the world's greatest plane as airline hostesses and would you be- lieve it, Jessie Jackson and Sidney are pilots. Maggie Mister, a young lady, with ambition has attained he: desired goal, she has won the man of her dreams and four little i ones. As we look closer we see Lorenzo Wigfall, a heavy-weight champion, defending his title against Floyd Patterson. Three years'ftom now we find Roger Thompson training to be the next astronaut into space, his doctors are Robert Allen and Gus Towns. Looking further we find that John Johnson has set aside sleeping in class and is now a medical doctor, his assistant is Joyce King. Wait! someone is being wheeled in. Ah! its Virgi- nia Weatherspoon. They are in East Berlin's hospital. Dorothy Huffman, a girl, with great brain has put it to use. She is now Miss Physics . Looking closer we find Tommie Allen, a defense attorney, along with Wanda Wilson, his private secretary. He is defending Ronald Dunklin who is sueing the state. Barbara Pittman has given marriage life up, she is now a congresswoman in the Senate. Now, we look further into the Crystal Ball we see Juel Coo- per, head nurse, in the Walter Reed Army Hospital. Would you believe it, there is Paul Franks, president of the United States Banks. His most reliable workers are Curtis Moo- ney and Tommie Willoughby. Now we see Mary Pride, the greatest private secretary in New York, works for her husband. James Chillers has put the cool daddy business down, he now works with the Federal Bureau Investigators. Ruthie Ftaizer and Virgia Jenning are now married. Ah! on September 20, 1970 Dorothy Lee was chosen as Miss America. Maxine Collier was one of her competitors. Behold, we see Dorothy Williams operating on James Mc- Gaughy, he has been smashed in an automobile accident. Further into the Crystal Ball we see Rosetta Faulkner teach- ing the third grade in Lansing, Michigan. As we continue looking we see Barbara Mays and Thelma Mitchell now researchers. They have reached their goal. John Sipho, Robert Starks and James Stanley who sings far better than they did as choir members, have formed a trio which has recorded hit after hit. George Treadwell, a soldier now, is doing fine. He has seen the world and now is in Florida at Cape Canaveral. We stand by with our fingers crossed, hoping this shot to the moon will be a success. Clifton Jones controls the switch. At the last moment he may keep a man here. With the last turn of the Crystal Ball we see Thelma Wilson and Lucille Mason teaching school at Central High.
