Throughout out years at Central the officers have played an important role in guiding our class. As sopho- mores our first endeavor was the Sophomore Sweet- heart. Later in the year our class had a car wash. It was a success and resulted in profit. junior year, we re- ceived class rings. It was our responsibility to sponsor the Junior-Senior Prom. To raise funds a mixer was held. Of course, all this could not have been accomplished without the counsel of our advisor, Mr. Dunckel. He has played an integral part in making the class of '65 the success that it is. The days are drawing near now, Time is closing its doors, But before we go, We'd like to take one last look. Central, You've been a good friend Never once did you let us down. We're sorry we can't say the same. It's going to be a little lonely In this world - going without you, But you can be assured of one thing We'1l never forget you or What y0u've taught us. Yes, soon, too soon We'll be taking that long walk To the stage. We'll see the swinging tassels, Touch the parchment, Hear the final address - Then Speedwell. And it's over, you'll be Seeing us as different people. Oh, we'll still be your good Friends, ' that is. But we'll be the friends who once shared those happy memories With you. Remember Homecoming, the tears that Yet, all in joy! The excitement at kick-offs! The yelling of cheers! The fun and frolic of Sno-Day! The thunderous applause at The Senior Class Play! Oh, how much we've experienced Central! We're going to miss the lockers Row on row. The ups and downs we're sure Must have been painted on the flowed Wrong stairways. Yet when we leave, We'll be confident because You've taught us how to be Americans, how to stand up in This world and make it proud of us.
