The days are drawing near now, Time is closing its doors, But before we go, We'd like to take one last look. Central, You've been a good friend Never once did you let us down. We're sorry we can't say the same. It's going to be a little lonely In this world - going without you, But you can be assured of one thing We'1l never forget you or What y0u've taught us. Yes, soon, too soon We'll be taking that long walk To the stage. We'll see the swinging tassels, Touch the parchment, Hear the final address - Then Speedwell. And it's over, you'll be Seeing us as different people. Oh, we'll still be your good Friends, ' that is. But we'll be the friends who once shared those happy memories With you.
