Sophomore Class By the middle of this year the Sophomore Class was made into an organized group which has proved to be an asset to our school. Mrs. Manila Topdahl was appointed adviser. They elected their first officers for the second semester. Bill Stempel, president, was assisted by Vice-Presi- dent Ianet Greig. Louise Ficken recorded the minutes, and Don Olson handled the finances of the class for the term. The class held monthly meetings for which members provided interesting entertainment. Those who have achieved the five highest scholastic records this past year will receive the Sophomore Honor Medals, awarded by the Student Council, next fall. FHESHMAN CLASS OFFICERS Iohn Remsberg, Pres, Gordon Spindler, Sec., Helen Kile, Treas., Ioan Iohnson, Vice-Pres. Freshman Class The Freshman Class, the first one at Central in fifteen years, has helped to swell our enrollment this year. Miss Bryant, their ad- viser, organized the class. Their president, elected for the spring term, was Iohn Remsberg. Ioan Iohnson became vice-presi- dent, and Gordon Spindler and Helen Kile took over the offices of secretary and treasurer, re- spectively. Iudging by their enthusiasm at the class meetings, the class ot '48 should make a record in the history of the school. Aria,

Iunior Class W The Iunior Class has played an important part in the many phases of school lite this year. In their two years at Central, juniors have contributed much to sports, to Central's three publications, to the dramatic productions, and to the various club activities. Guided by Mrs. Daphne White and Miss Sarah Q'l-lora, members of the Class ol '46 have made an enviable record of accomplishment. Elected as president in the tall was Wallace Rogers. Assisting him as vice- president was Arlen Erickson, and Charlotte Rell was secretary. Dick Ring was appointed treasurer by the executive committee. Spring term officers were Bill Hansacker, president, lim Bublitz, vice-president, and the new secretary, Eileen Vogt. lack Leppla was appointed treasurer. The Iunior-Senior prom was the main event of this second semester. The Class of '46 will undoubtedly make a high mark for itself in the annals of Central. Ll
