Historical Society ln order to become a member of the 'Historical Society a student must have achieved an average of at least ninety, and he must have attended Central one or more years. The Research Committee of the Society keeps tiles of the alumni, the colleges they attend, any awards they receive, their profes- sions, marriages, and any other interesting information about them. Another activity is keeping scrap- books ot all the athletic and social events that involve former Centralites. There is also a souvenir scrapbook that contains programs ot all Central productions and invitations and place-cards from the various club events. Complete tiles ot alumni ser vice records tor World War l and the present war are kept. Sophomore Honor Medals The following students were awarded the Sophomore Honor Medals presented each year by the Student Council to the pupils who maintained the highest average during their sophomore year: Anne Marie Zeitler, lim Wenzel, Ted Sidletsky, Elizabeth Perlt, and Nancy Given.
