Adffiferf IF ANYONE wishes an able chess opponent, Mr. Robert Brockman will capably fill the position. Besides being adviser for the Chess Club, he takes care of school finances. EIRDS and the out-of-doors interest Miss lrma Mieli. That probably accounts for her position, as adviser for the Bird Club. Few people are favored with such a beautiful singing voice as hers. TECAUSE it is his vocation to settle the prob- lems of a large body of students, Mr. Albert Meier, our assistant principal, makes his avoca- tion the study of beautiful music. He also likes to row and swim. QUR principal, Mr. James H. Nlarshall, has many varied interests. He likes to devote his spare moments to playing golf and to fishing. He is a strong opponent for any ping pong player. IT Traxxas an alert mind to advise the sophomore class, and Miss Marion Munsonls love of bridge, golf, and driving have certainly qualified her for the task. ooklxcs is a hobby enjoyed by the adviser of the Paint and Patches, Miss Nlar-iorie Dornberg. She also admits that she is fond of teaching her subject, expression, and of trying to play golf. LACIER PARK is the vacation spot of Mrs. Amanda johnson each summer. She is chairf man of the English department this year. Gyn-ISS PEARLE KNIGHT, who is the adviser for the student council, delights in Hjust knowing people. She has no special hobby other than that.

There are intramural sports for the boys each year, including skating, kittenball, basketball, golf, and tennis. Besides civics and economics, the history department includes ancient, modern European, American, English, and world history. Gmiss 1.il.L1AN FLITCH is a confirmed globe- trotter. She spends most of her vacations traveling to spots of historical interest. Gmiss HELEN HECK, the junior class adviser, teaches mathematics, which perhaps explains her skill at bridge. She is interested in skating, swimming, and likes to travel. AMMNG, fishing, and the out-of-doors in gen- eral attract Mr. Albert Schwabe. XVhile not working in the shop, Mr. Schwabe advises the Archery Club, a fairly new organization, which has fast become popular. Uxiniia the direction of Mr. l.ewis Harnsber- ger, girls' art woodwork classes make door stops, plaques, and other wooden objects. The Aeronautics Club, a new club, is advised by him. Gmiss GRACE COCHRAN eHicien tly superintends the publication of the World , Central's l.it- erary magazine. She also likes to drive her car to YYisconsin, where she often spends her vacations. Gjfciss EUNICE VVEl,I.ES is the newest member of the expression department, but her interests have long been centered about plays and read' ing. For a change she likes to hike for miles on a nice day. GMR, JOHN HARP, one of our genial biology instructors, is a golf enthusiast.
