Counselors - fice Staff CHARLES SANDMAN 5el1i0T High Counselor LADELL PETERSON Senior High Counselor JEWEL REEVES BILL SALWAECHTER 'Junior High Counselor Student Advisor OFFICE STAFF Some of the busiest people at Central will be found in the front office. These women handle everything from records to fee money. Some of their responsibilities are run- ning the switchboard, teaching the office aides and showing them the various jobs important in office work. Here will be found a general information bureau on all students such as grade averages, all classes and teachers, also the records of previous graduates attending Central. Each of the women, Mrs. Shirley Cook, Mrs, Eloise Keffer, Mrs. Lahoma Schiel and Mrs. Kathleen Vinson, of the office staff do the work that makes the wheels ofCentral run smoothly and constantly. Keeping attendances of all students, printing and issuing daily bulletins, checking students in and out of school, keeping the school up to date of the financial position as well as keeping books on fees and issuing ttereipts are just part of a day's work for ulif-sw four women. So hats off to these hard Wfirls ing ladies, COUNSELORS Counseling is a hard job and is not to be taken lightly. This year we have a great staff of counselors. In their daily routine they help students with their problems avr home, at school, as well as financial ones. One can get a good idea why these counse- lors are sometimes called parents away from home. qMr.'Charles Sandmann has been a Senior High counselor for two years, after teaching math for nine years. QCounseling, at Central for the first year is Mrs. Ladell Peterson, Last year she taught Co-op English, math, and homemaking. Mrs. Jewell Reeves has been counseling 'Junior High students at Central for nine years . She came to Central when it was first made a Junior-Senior school in 1954. Assistant to Mr. Marshall in the area, of attendance and discipline at junior high level, is the new title given Mr. Bill Sal- waechter. This is his first year as a Junior High counselor. Previously he taught science here at Central. Before coming to Oklahoma he was a geologist in Lansing, Michigan.
