A With the job of balancing the budget, wwcetling with the necessity of securing :hfvv equipment for our schools, the board also has to alleviate the problem of over- crowded rooms, securing new teachers, plan new buildings and expansion programs, as well as to add new members from year to year. Realizing that their decisions direct the course of our school, this group holds many lengthy meetings in an effort to give the people an educational program they will approve of.

PARKER Superintendent of Schools SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS Superintendent of Schools Dr. Jack F, Parker and his assistants have more than just a goal to reach with their daily tasks that are set in front of them day by day. It is more than just an idea to head all of the city schools, plus various departments alone here at Central. With the widespread of school drop- outs and other serious and minor weekly problems, Dr. Parker and his right-arm assistants 'can take pride in feeling that they help make the best better. No doubt the jobs of these officals are so frequently takenmfor granted. So in the cause of futhering educationl at Central High alone the students would like to thank our superintendent of schools and his worthy assistants. MR. ALEX HIGDON MR. M.
