Members of the Oklahoma City Board of Education, assistants to the superintendent, and directors of education work very hard to provide and equip the buildings, secure the teachers, and plan the diversified program offered to the students of our city schools. Dr. Swanson, who is now in his sixth year as Superintendent of Schools, is Working far be- yond the call of duty in attempting to arrange for our young people the finest education pos- sible. Enthusiastic, untiring, and sincere in his interest in our welfare, he is outspoken in his demands for adequate funds for the schools, and helpful in his attitude toward teachers and students. The efforts of all these fine people on our be- half are deeply and sincerely appreciated.
