Central High School is proud of its modern cafeteria, which is the training ground for workers all over the city. Our cafeteria staff this year was under the management of Mrs. Ester Jentry first semester and Mrs. Alcy Goldsmith second semester. These women planned and pre- pared nutritious meals which were served in both the students' and teachers' lunch rooms. The students and faculty members Wish to thank these people for their fine service and friendly attitudes. Among the hardest working groups at Central are the custodians. These men keep our halls, rooms, and grounds clean, and lend a helping hand when needed. In the summer, custodians from other city schools attend a training school at Central. Carl Permenter was chosen the friendliest custodian at Central last year during friendship week. Mr. Grover Jenks has been head custodian at Central for the last twelve years.
