This group has won many prizes this year: a sec- ond place trophy tor Band Day at Norman, a sec- ond place ribbon for the Fair Parade, and a first place trophy at Central State for a Homecoming Parade. The band was entered in district and state playing contests and in the Tri-State Music Festival at Enid. The group performed at football and basketball -51- games and marched in parades, displaying in spec- tacular fashion their Central spirit and loyalty.
