As the last semester of High School for the Class of '46 draws to a close, we all begin to recall our wonderful experiences at Central. When we leave we will no doubt go on read- ing about our classmates the rest of our lives. One day we will possibly read about Dolores.Evans, the QQLwLAw On the Sports Page we will find that Frank Boydston has made All-American. Of course Bob Entzminger, John Haney, and Vernon Forshee have made themselves famous in Basket- ball. Then both our Student Council Presidents, Jack Vaughn and Bob Ross, with their speak- ing ability, have become lawyers. Not least on our list is Ruth Jane Campbell, Ruth Jane has always won titles, and now she is Miss America. ln connection with Ruth Jane we remember the Junior Play, You Can't Take It With You, which starred Clema Benson and Lyndell Buck. In the passing parade we see some organizations at work. The leaders in the organizations were leaders of our Pep Clubs at Central. Tommie Lou Waddell, Jack Bell, Sue Swartwood and Bill Hughes, Barbara Circle, Bill Marshall, and Jimmie Whitney. ,We notice that the Editor of the paper we are reading is Betty Murray, our l946.Yearbook Editor. The illustrations for the paper are drawn by Elaine Fields. And last but not least, on the theatrical page we find Tfone Wehba lYou will remember him from the Red Shirt Minstrelsl has revived a Vaude- vi e act. We all dislike leaving Central but we know that there are bigger things in the future for us. Sponsors: Mr. A. H. Long, Mrs. Lilian Wilson, Miss Barbara Sclloback, Miss Helen Allison, Miss Lenna Lawson, Mr. F. A. Leabo.
