Simon Roberts President Senior Class Officers Kenneth Hamann Vice President Jayne Barker Dick Theer Secretory Treasurer Thursday, October 1, approximately 545 seniors elected Simon Roberts, president; Ken Hamann, vice- president; Jayne Barker, secretary; and Dick Theer, treasurer to serve as officers for the class of 1954. The first senior event was the “Senior Sock Hop” held November 25 in the gym. Elaine Roggenkamp and John Hennings served as co-chairmen for the dance. Don Magnusson served as general chairman for “Senior Career Day”, April 28. Serving on the commit- tee with the officers were Les Jurgens, Bill Hart, Norman Nevenhoven, Ed Newman, Lorraine Hamann, Sue Clemens, Barb Wallarab, Signc Poison, and Carolyn Cohrt. “Father of the Bride”, the Senior Class Play, was presented May 7 and 81 under the direction of Mrs. Mae Elma Tornquist. The final event before graduation was the Senior-Junior Prom June 4, at the Coliseum. Chairmen in chargo of the final events of the year were: Seated: Jim Rustan, decorations; Beth Frank and Roxy Ernsberger, class picnic, and Elaine Rog- genkamp, senior sock hop. Standing: Stuart Sord, senior- junior prom; Barb Miller, class announcements, Don Magnus- son, career day. Howard Hen- drickson, class play promotion; Sherry Little and David Peters, senior program; Miriam Under- wood, decorations; and Mel Frahm, class announcements. Not pictured are John Hen- nings, senior sock hop, and Nancylee Hintz, class play promotion.
