Harold J. Williams, Superintendent of Schools Admini Congratulations to the Rlackhawk staff, spon- sors, and to all members of the 1954 graduating class of Davenport High School. High school graduation is a big step. Much of what you do in the future will be deter- mined by your high school experiences. If you have learned how to study, to work with others, and to assume responsibility, you have good promise of success. If in addition you have developed a healthy body with moral and spiritual fiber, you are destined for leadership in your community. The class of 1954 has great possibilities. We hope and pray that each of you may enjoy the full measure of your abilities. Life will be full of opportunities for you.
