WILLIAM T MACDOUGALD Assistant Pr1nc1pal The school year 1953 54 marks the beginning of my association I am pleased to be afhliated with Mr Abbott our Prmcipal the Central High School faculty student body and alumni During the past few months I have been deeply impressed with the friendliness honesty and spirit shown to me by the members of the classes of 1954 The varied courses offered at Central High School enable each of you to progress toward your chosen occupation My earnest desire is that you will also avail yourselves of the great opportunities presented by our country and that you will contribute your share in keeping America spiritually and phys1cally strong Your cover design illustrates by the falling golden coins what fine men and women are graduating with the classes of 1954 To these graduates go my best wishes for success and happiness in the years to come Mr Macdougald 5 with Central High School as its Assistant Principal.
