Acknowledgments The staff of the BLACK AND GOLD realizes that the task of editing and publishing Central High School's yearbook would indeed be a difficult task Without the ready assistance and cooperation which We have had from our many friends. Dr. Walsh, our principal, through his interest and encour- agement in our Work, has given the staff the incentive to pro- duce the best work We could. Mr. Mackintosh, the senior counselor, has been most Will- ing to help us at any time. To Mr. Breard, Miss Burnside of the Student Activities Office, Miss Greenwood, and the office staff for their aid and generosity in the use of office faculties, We wish to convey our gratitude. Mr. Fine of the Roberts Studio for his patient assistance to our photographers and other staff members, is deserving of our most wholehearted thanks.
