Acknowledgments january, 1939 Dear Render,- Cooperation is a necessary element in producing any high school publication. XVithout the support of their friends, the staffs could not accomplish much. The Editors of Tutti BLACK AND GOI.D have found this to be true, and wish to pause in the day's occupation for a moment to express our appreciation to those persons who have so willingly and ably given their aid to the members of Tina BLACK AND Goin board. To Dr. XValsh, our principal, we give due gratitude. Ever ready to lend his assistance, kind in his criticism, generous in his encour- agement, and sincere in his interest, he has made possible our de- veloping a yearbook of higher quality than we could have without his help. To Mr. Hendrick, our vice-principal, we are indeed grateful. XVitl1 his cooperation we have been able to work more efhciently. Miss Palmer, counselor of the se11ior class, has been most willing to help us at any time. In connection with the club write-ups and pictures, effusive thanks are due Mr. Philbrick, school coordinator, and club advisers. Mr. Chase, head of the English department, Mr. Hlebb, Miss Dahlgren, and Miss Bosworth have acted as the faculty committee to judge the material for illflli BLACK AND Goin awards. NVC express our deep appreciation to Mr. Bickford of the Bick' ford Engraving and Electrotyping Company, to Mr. Brouth of the L. H. Bellini Studio, and to Mr. John F. O'Hara of the Oxford Press, who have aided us immensely in our work. Mr. Lyons of the commercial department, teachers of senior home rooms, and Miss Turner and oilice staffs have cooperated with us greatly. Think of these people, reader, as you turn the pages of this issue of Central High School's yearbook. Very truly yours, THE ED1ToRs
