The stu- dents of Central would not be able to get along without the encouragement and guid- ance of these individuals. This year is the beginning of a new counseling system, whereby each counselor has a specific class to work with and follows it through the three years of high school. Throughout the past year, the Aberdeen Board of Education has been meeting to plan the policies for the schools, to manage the finances, and to solve the problems of the Aberdeen school system. Mem- bers of the board are, left to right: J. W. Deacon, clerk; W. H. Edwards, Kenneth V. Sauck, president; Duane Riedal, Harlan Clark, and C. H. Holgate, superintendent of schools. Missing is Alfred Sandvig. Policy Makers Clerk of the Board of Education and business mana- ger of the schools is Mr. J. W. Deacon, who is in charge of the financial affairs in the schools. Mr. Cy Holgate is the superintendent of schools. We wish to thank him for his help in the running of the Aberdeen school system and for his contribu- tions to Central High School.
