JUNIOR CLASS HISTORY President-Raynor Coloumbe Vice President-4Norman Dunn Secretary-Doris McGinty Treasurer--William Jackson Student Council-David Crowell Advisor-John J. Assis In the fall of 1938 a very timid group of Freshmen entered, the portals of Central Falls High School. As the year progressed, however, the timidness wore off and we began to feel more at home. There was no class organization until our second year when the first event for which we were responsible was the Sopohomore- Social. This event was a success in every way. At last the long awaited time came. We were Juniors and upper c1assmen . Our first step was the organization of the classy next, the laying of plans for the Junior Frolic, the forerunner to the dream of every Junior-the Prom. Both the Frolic and the Prom were socially a success, and were the greatest financial successes in a number of years. The last activity of the Junior year was the entertaining and humorous play, Stream- lined Sue. And now the Junior Class closes its door on a very successful year and looks forward to occupying the places left vacant by the class of '41, We will try to deserve the dignified. title of Senior. RUTH BEAVEN WALTER LADA SOPHOMORE CLASS HISTORY President--Raymond LaPlante Vice-President-Louis Poutre Secretary-Mabel Thornton Treasurer-Samuel Shmaruk Student Council--John Kubiski Faculty Adviser-Mr. James Morgan The class of 1943 is a talented and resourceful group. Among the class officers we find a youth who has distinguished himself in the fields of football and basketballg a number of other Sophomores responded to the call of the athletic coaches and showed fine ability and willingness to cooperate. Another group showed their dramatic abilities in a play given at assemblyg three others were elected to the Student Councilg and a large number of Sopho- mores make the Honor Roll each quarter. After reviewing all our abilities, we are inclined to say that the Sophomore Class shows great promise. May the teachers be as proud of the class of '43 as they are of the present graduating class.
