THE CLASS OF 1951 Formerly of Central Catholic PORTLAND, OREGON The Classes of '52, '53, '54 Catholic Central Portland, Gregon Dear Undergraduates: After having observed you during our stay at Central, we the 51lers, are firmly assured that you are better than able to carry the high standards set by us and preceeding classes. The task will be difficult but we know that you will aim for higher goals. Remember always that Men of Central are true Christian gentle- men, not only in name but in every action, whether it be in the classroom, on the athletic field or in your own homes. The Man of Central is the man who has the courage to do the right thing, not because he has to, but because he wants to. Filled with this spirit, you will find the way to spiritual, scho- lastic, social and athletic success much easier. Finally, we beg of you as loyal followers of Christ the King that you follow your Leader as His devoted subjects. Pray to Him faithfully that you may receive every grace that you need to reach God the Father, in Eternal Life. Trustingly Yours in Christ, THE CLASS OF 1951 21
