One might as well ask how many threads in the curtain? Central Catholic is fortunate because it has many teachers of many di- verse subjects. The history of the ancient world is presented to the freshman students in an in- teresting fashion by Sister Francis Gertrude, SP. Instructing young ladies in the art of homemaking is Sister Alice ' s daily task. The classes are held in the school ' s mod- ern home-ec lab. The grueling schedule of freshman English and World History keeps Mr. Lee Horn in a constant whirl. The functioning of the national, state, and local government is explained by Mr. Mi- chael Mitchell in his senior government classes. 16
