L. to R. Dave Langas — President, Delores Hiatt — Vice-Pres., William Kossen — Secy., Kay Deni{ Treas. As the Class of 1961 leaves C. C, we like to reflect on some of our milestones here. In the dim past, when we were Freshmen, we were the first class to have cheer- leaders for our freshmen teams, and a fine job they did too. Next year we managed to have fun and make money when we inaugurated the Sophomore Sock Hop. Our first social whirl as a class was the Junior Dance, where things were a bit crowded, but everyone hod a wonderful time. This year our football team, led by the Seniors, took city, and put a fine number of players on the all-city team. We scored another first this year when our class, led by Mr. Daniels and the Civics Club, pub- lished the first Student Directory. Our high school days are almost over now, and though we wouldn ' t give them up for anything, as we leave C. C. we must remember that the future for which we hove been prepared lies open before us. 24
