Boys ' and Girls ' State Delegates Richard Maciejcwski Top Carrier of the Year Ben Wassinger, Boys ' State Delegate, and Pat Zocholl, Girls ' State Representative, have the privilege of spend- ing a vi ' eek in June with teenagers studying the practical operations of Nebraska Legislature. The educational ad- vantages and actual experiences these youth get is an invaluable part of their high school training. Richard Maciejcwski, the Daily Independent ' s selection as the outstanding carrier of the year is being congratulated by Gov. Anderson. Macie- jcwski was one of several Nebraska carriers to visit the governor as part of National News- paper Week observance. Juniors Participate in County Government More than 100 Hall County high school students were offered an inside view of county government. Officials for county officers are elected by popular vote of the student body in each school. These officials take over the duties of the County Officials and participate in the County Government for one day. 4T
