Iti the food laboratory the third year group studies about and prepares food for special occasions. In clothing, the student learns “to see herself as others see her.” The “point of view” and “seeing with your mind not your eyes” are oft repeated slogans which guide her along the highway of style, not fashion. Child care, with emphasis on the preventing of undesirable habits in the infants’ first year, helps to prepare the student for a happy family home. The future homemaker is taught to take a vital interest in com¬ munity affairs. By directed conversation with her father she learns about his worth and his hobbies. All these help her to find the secret of giving herself away which is the Christian way of life as taught by our Master when He walked on this earth and lived in His home at Nazareth. Sister M.
