Work in designing and interior decorating, free hand drawing, color theory, lettering, art of modeling, application of theatrical makeup, jioster work, pen and ink sketching, dress designing, and clay modeling are offered to the students in this course. Qiicons orl In room 42, the boys’ art department, sketching and oil and water color technique, learned in the freshman year, are applied in the junior and senior years to posters and illustrations for the com¬ mercial field. Beyond this theoretical background since art is also the right making of things, finished problems are carried out in ceramics, wood car ing, metal-craft, model-building, and leather- crafts. An interesting project this year consisted of an unusual set of stations worked out in symbols. ' These emblems were done in clay, fired, and super-imposed on wooden crosses. Sister M.
