Assistant Librarian JUii ' flic school library is a large room equipped, not only with standard library furniture, hut with splendid books, good magazines, a pamphlet file covering topics of religion, na¬ tional problems, and other timely subjects. I ' hrougb tbe unabridged Wilson indexes, tbe Catholic Periodical Index, the Card Cat¬ alog, and a file of one hundred and fifty mag¬ azines, some of which date back to 1935, the upperclassmen have ample opportunity to do a maximum of research in their own library. This study of human culture presents the origin of many im¬ portant elements of present-day civilization inherited from past-ages and emphasizes the contributions the Church made to it.
